If you're an uncompromising collector of antique technology, make sure to check out all my listings after you look at this one. I don't think you'll find a better, broader or more balanced assortment of technical antiques anywhere -- hundreds of no-reserve auctions each year, almost all of them featuring eye-popping "gee whiz" gadgetry in exceptional original condition. And d

Here's a stunning Krupp-Ernemann 35MM projector and accessory sound head manufactured in the late 1920's. This early, hand crank, sound-capable motion picture projector -- one of the world's first optical sound projectors -- is in excellent condition throughout and is a testament to the timelessness of top tier industrial design. At first glance, it's hard to determine if it was pulled from the projection room of an old movie theater or the engine bay of an old Ferrari.
Clean metal surfaces, working front shutter, clear lens elements, lubrication lines that look like arteries feeding a huge, beautiful bionic heart.
The mechanism is in good working order, and when the gears are manipulated by hand, the projector runs smoothly.
Approximately 16" high x 12" wide by 12" deep. Shipping weight, properly packed, will be about 60 lb. For sale only to addresses in the USA. Too large and too heavy to be shipped overseas. Sorry.
That's about it. I will package it properly so that it arrives at your doorstep safely. I have been shipping fragile technical antiques for years, and if you check my feedback, you'll see that I know how to do it correctly.
