The British rock band Queen was formed in London in 1970 and consisted of vocalist Freddie Mercury, guitarist Brian May, Drummer Roger Taylor, and Bassist John Deacon. Before becoming Queen, May and Taylor played together in a band called "Smile". Mercury was a huge fan of Smile, and eventually joined the group, and convinced the band to change their name to Queen. In this shot you can see Freddie mercury with his arms out wide facing the crowd, as Taylor beats on the drums behind him.
