This security sensor goes beyond security applications, allowing you to activate Z-Wave smart home devices. Create customized rules to trigger specific Z-Wave scenes when the sensor is activated. For example, open the door and let the DW Mini-S activate a scene that turns on the lights automatically. These features are only accessible when used in conjunction with the Qolsys IQ Panel 4 and the alarm.com mobile app. The sensor is also equipped with a tamper switch and real-time status alerts, you can stay updated on any activity with ease. S-Line Sensors utilize an advance encryption scheme between the sensor and the central panel to ensure that sensor event transmissions are always unique, preventing and eliminating common replay attacks.
Create automation rules such as “turn on the light if the door is opened” or “adjust thermostat if window is opened”. Create custom names for each sensor, determine unique chime type, choose voice prompts on or off. Included built-in tamper switch triggers an alert if the cover is removed.
