The Phillips 16mm film projector, type EL 5000, was specially designed for use by professionals.
The need for such a projector arises from the fact that 16 mm film passed from amateur, into the professional world.
This machine provides high quality picture and sound. The total luminous flux falling upon the screen from the projector, using a 1000 watt lamp and in the absence of film compares well with values
usually rated as "acceptable"
Many details of the design of this machine are shared with Philips 35 mm Theatrical film projectors, The use of a Maltese cross intermittent film movement provides the highest possible quality and stable image possible. You can be assured of a high quality presentation when using this machine.
