I love decorative boxes that can be used to hold special items on your dressing table, coffee table, kitchen counter, desk or anywhere you decide!  Of course, I have to decorate mine with a Corgi all decked out with a beautiful big forget-me-not in her hair..  She sits peacefully next to a few more forget-me-not blossoms, smiling and just waiting to have her box filled with items dear to you.  I described it as a treasure box because it's a perfect size for lots of treasures dear to you, especially jewelry, but this could also hold bobbie pins, paperclips, safety pins, cotton balls - you name it.  I show it with three rings so you can see it's a pretty good sized box and will hold a lot.  The box has three small feet.
This box proper was created by pouring liquid clay into a mold and when released, I added my Corgi and details.  This box measures
6 inches round; the opening is 3 3/4 inches round; 5 inches tall to the tip of the Corgi ear;  2 1/2 inches tall without the Corgi.
There were
no molds
used in the Corgi and details of this piece.
This is one of my original, one-of-a-kind pieces of artwork, sculpted, hand painted, and fired to over 2000 degrees.  It is then glazed using a food-safe glaze, and fired for a second time, achieving a glossy, waterproof finish.
