Please email with any questions. Elegant Eastman Kodak Kodascope Model B library edition projector with original wooden "casket" cover/case.The Kodascope Model B of 1927 was the company’s first self‑threading projector. Featuring folding supply and take-up reel arms, it was easier to use and store than the earlier model. This cased version, known as the Library Kodascope, was introduced in May 1929. Along with its attractive walnut cover, it came with a folding reflecting screen for both black & white and Kodacolor films- hence the viewer could watch films in a public setting without disturbing those around him. Case measures 14" by 12" by 11" tall, beveled corners, diamond shaped marquetry decoration on the top, metal ring handles on two sides, metal plaque inside lid. The projector is designed with a lot of shiny chrome parts that contrast with the dark projector that is kind of an oil rubbed bronze finish- even the metal labels on the projector have an extra fancy design. Missing the plug and power cord but we modified a modern plug in order to test it out- we will include our modified plug for you.The smaller lights work and the projecting bulb also works, a new-old stock bulb that we purchased especially for this projector. The projector runs forward and reverse. We have not tested with 16mm film so can't say for sure how it functions at that point so it is sold as-is as far as functionality goes. There are some scratches and marks on the case exterior- slight stains and some crazing on the wood finish which seems original.
