Description

Rare original WW2 German postcard size photograph of group of men, one of them is Latvian NCO volunteer from German elite division. He has on German uniform and overseas hat with elite insignia and  Latvian elite sleeve patch. Photograph was  acquired in former Soviet Latvia. Note: one collar tab has been pen blacked out  for security purpose - in Soviet Union after war Latvian  Elite volunteers could be prosecuted.
It is original photograph, not post-war reprint.
Size 11.5 cm x 8.5 cm.
There is writing  on the back with devotion in Latvian.
Nice photograph, clean, with clear image.
